CURRICULUM VITAE

Christine Woodall is a pet behaviour specialist. This means that she has devoted her working life to studying the behaviour of pet animals, and their relationship with their owners. She includes horses, dogs, cats and parrots, working with owners to prevent unsuitable behaviour, and train in more desirable behaviour. She specialises in curing behaviour problems.

She has trained dogs for Obedience, working trials and support dog work. She has bred German Shepherds for working and companionship, and miniature dachshunds for showing.

She has produced two International Champions, and many 'best friends' of sound character and outstanding personality. She has bred pedigree cats, and shares her office desk and chair with two ginger (ex) Toms, as well as James, the Springer.

She has trained and re-homed many parrots of all species, and dealt with feline behaviour problems for fifteen years.

For over forty years she has attended seminars, conferences and workshops to increase her knowledge and experience. She works hands on with owners to shape behaviour of family pets and horses.

Christine studied psychology with Birmingham University, and is a qualified lecturer, assessor and course designer.

There are no recognised 'qualifications' in animal psychology, but there is professional recognition, and Christine is very keen to ensure that all practitioners in this field have proper practical and academic recognition. To this end, she has been a supporter of The Kennel Club’s Accreditation Scheme for Trainers and Behaviourists from its inception. She is an assessor and a board member. Do contact Christine to find out about the KCAI.

Currently, Christine's work involves running The College of Pet Animal Studies, designing workshops, and promoting the use of Natural Training Techniques to owners and trainers alike. Christine is a Reiki healer, combining this technique with other therapies to achieve success with traumatised animals. She also mentors her students to successful achievement of their dreams.

She devises and uses Natural Healing Techniques to gain outstanding results without force or harshness. She teaches these methods to students and owners alike.

Do contact Christine for advice about your career / hobby concerns, or for help with your pet problems.
